Matt Evans

Matt started playing for Blitz in 2016, becoming a regular at training & tournaments. In 2020 he joined the committee as Secretary and also took responsibility for social media. In November 2021 he took the role of overall chair.

Ben Tabram

Ben started playing softball in 2021 and has been an ever present at training and tournaments since then. He joined the committee as Vice-Chair at our 2023 AGM.

Treasurer

Neil Foot

Neil, otherwise known as Sparkles, originally started playing softball in 2014 and has played an active role in the Blitz committee since the beginning with the role of Treasurer. Fun Fact: Neil is one of the founding members of Blitz!

Secretary

Chloe Love

Chloe joined Blitz in 2015 following a move to the Midlands from Manchester where she played in the Manchester league. After a year of playing she took the role of Social Secretary, progressing to Secretary and then Chair at the start of the 2020 season. In November 2021 Chloe once again became Secretary.

Billie Lands

Billie joined the committee in October 2021 taking on the responsibility of organising club social events. Since taking on the role she has organised several socials such as our first ever Christmas social, a family walk & coffee plus a night out that included Axe Throwing! Billie is a hugely popular member of the club.

Coach

Trevor Sykes

Trevor started playing in 2014 and quickly became an established player. In 2017 he took over the role as being lead coach. He regularly plays at the higher levels of the game and is an excellent coach. This was recognised by our governing body BSUK when he was announced as Adult Softball Coach of the Year in 2021.

Coach & League Support

Carl Billson

Carl started playing softball in 2014 and quickly became a relied upon member of the Coventry Blitz team. He is a regular at tournaments and is also one of our club coaches. Carl joined the committee in 2020 as Vice Chair which he held until 2023. Carl now supports our league bringing vast experience to the team!
